What Shall I Wear?

More than anything else, you must feel comfortable during your treatment. It is suggested that a pair of sports shorts is most practical to wear. Women may find active training wear suitable - sports bras and vest tops are stretchy and comfortable, whilst maintaining modesty. Should children and teenagers attend for treatment, a chaperone will be required - parent/guardian. Examination and treatment will usually involve a fair degree of movement, so loose fitting clothes are ideal otherwise.

How much will it cost?

Our fees are competitive given the high quality of service we feel is provided. We have 40 minute treatment sessions throughout the day as we do not feel we can do our job properly in less. We reassess your condition during every treatment session and the extra time we allow is invaluable to ensuring the best treatment is given to you - the patient. Current rates per visit are £45:00 payable by cash/cheque/bank transfer. Concessional rates for children 16 and under are £30:00

Can I claim through my private health insurance?

Yes. Jillian is registered with most UK private health providers. As policy holders, you will need to telephone your provider to discuss any benefit you may have on your policy. In most cases, you will be given an Authorisation Code to pass on to us. If there is an excess on your policy you will also need to inform us prior to your visit to discuss our payment methods too. Fees / visit are the same as self-funding patients in most cases, but two of the main providers will have negotiated rates with any registered service provider (in this case Jillian Forsyth) which will be discussed if necessary. Invoicing in most cases is made directly to the insurer.

Will I be charged for non-attendance?

We have a large waiting list, please give us at least 24 hours notice. A charge will normally be made but we do also appreciate that in some exceptional circumstances appointments are missed. In the event of a cancellation being made, it allows us to contact other patients who may be extremely grateful to be offered an earlier appointment.
